00:00We all clicked together because we were the outsiders, nerds, skaters, and punks, jumping
00:22around, freaking out.
00:23So 30 Minutes of Madness just sounded right.
00:28We moved in together.
00:30Within a few months, 30 Minutes of Madness died.
00:33I blame myself, but it's not all my fault.
00:36I could not have worked then, but it doesn't mean that I couldn't work now.
00:41This summer, I'm going back to Michigan to make a new episode of 30 Minutes of Madness.
00:48These people lost touch with being artists.
00:5180 to 90 percent of the core group of people that were on the show are struggling with
00:56everything from drug addiction, mental illness, unfulfilling lives in whatever way.
01:02You know, when you're addicted to heroin, you get lost.
01:07I couldn't do anything except for think about my life with you.
01:12You end up going crazy.
01:15We were all sitting here saying there's something wrong with them, and we all walked away.
01:23It's kind of like the end of a dream.
01:38All of what I am came from working on that show.
01:41I believed that we could just turn nothing into something, and this is the only thing
01:46that I've ever believed in, 100 percent in my life.
01:54Do you think we'll ever get to a point where we can collaborate without these kind of arguments?
01:59No.
02:00Do you think it's worth it?
02:05You know, 20 years from now, no matter what happens, we're all going to be here.
