Taiwan's High Court has suspended a corruption case involving a former Hsinchu mayor Ann Kao, saying one of the laws she's convicted under may be unconstitutional.

00:00Taiwan's high court has suspended a corruption case against former Hsinchu mayor Ann Gao.
00:05Gao from the Taiwan People's Party was initially sentenced to seven years and four months for
00:11misappropriating funds while in office.
00:13But during an appeal, the high court ruled that the law she was convicted under may be
00:18unconstitutional.
00:19They've asked the country's constitutional judges to make a ruling on the law before
00:24proceeding.
