Tinanggal sa National Security Council ang bise presidente alinsunod sa bagong executive order ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos. Ayon sa Malacañang, hindi akma sa ngayon ang bise sa mga responsibilidad ng konseho. Inalis rin sa NSC ang mga dating pangulo ng Pilipinas. Nangyari ‘yan matapos ang mga banta ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa buhay ng pangulo at matapos kuwestiyunin ng bise ang pagturing sa kaniya ng konseho bilang security threat.
