Revolution has been brewing on the 2024 TV schedule, as the world of Apple TV+’s Silo continues to fracture. Thanks to Rebecca Ferguson’s Juliette Nichols departing at the end of Season 1, discontent has been growing between the people of Silo 18 and those in authority. And, thanks to the events of the fourth chapter to Season 2, it looks like that rift is about to reach a boiling point. With that, CinemaBlend spoke with the cast about how things will be shaken up.

00:00Episode 4. I don't think I've ever seen Bernard as cold-blooded, but also as nurturing as his plot involving Judge Meadows.
00:10Do you two think that this is going to bring them closer together in their duties?
00:15All right, well, let's just put it this way. You might not understand why, but it's the only thing I can do.
00:25And I think, you know, right now where Sims in season two starts is he's still like, man, we got to do what we need to do to protect the people of the silo.
00:39And he's still figuring it out. And one of his biggest confidants and people that he responds to and and also expresses to is his wife.
00:53So that's a new that's a new part of the audience's understanding of who Sims is, because you get to see his wife.
01:02So that inevitably will have an effect upon at least the decisions he's making.
01:08And then also, you know, with him being aligned with Bernard for what they want to do for the silo, it makes it even more like it's more of a mix in there, like of ingredients now.
01:20And it's really good because that's real. Like, I mean, I've noticed in life, you know, when you do have a partner, you know, you share a lot of things with them and their perspective matters,
01:34even in some of the most intense and high, high intensity situations.
01:43But, you know, so that's where Sims is still his own self, but he's also partnered with his wife.
01:50So he has to deal with those things. And that's how he's dealing with everything.
01:54It's like that perspective part of Bernard's tragedy is that he is not allowed to have that romantic love because that would compromise the style.
02:06I mean, that was one of the the most three and four were just.
02:13They're just heartbreaking and brutal, and they are sort of the creation of Knox and Shirley as a team.
02:21What they go through at the end of three and then what they they're sort of their ideals are destroyed.
02:31Well, I should say their ideals are sort of set into motion.
02:34Knox thinks he's sort of one. We're going to go through the system.
02:37And then what happens with the with the when they go up top, that's the that's when Knox is completely lost.
02:44When he sees what's happened and you see him snap and surely is the one holding him back.
02:50That's when when the old Knox dies in that moment, you know, and then something new is born as they run down the stairs.
02:59He's had a flavor of the betrayal. So that's where the ferocity comes out.
03:07And I think that's where we're at.
03:09I think that's where we're at.
03:10I think that's where we're at.
03:11I think that's where we're at.
03:12I think that's where we're at.
03:13I think that's where we're at.
03:14I think that's where we're at.
03:15I think that's where we're at.
03:16I think that's where we're at.
03:17I think that's where we're at.
03:18I think that's where we're at.
03:19I think that's where we're at.
03:20I think that's where we're at.
03:21I think that's where we're at.
03:22I think that's where we're at.
03:23I think that's where we're at.
03:24I think that's where we're at.
