00:16This advisory highlights alcohol use as a leading preventable cause of cancer in the United States,
00:23contributing to nearly 100,000 cancer cases and about 20,000 cancer deaths each year.
00:31Adding, the more alcohol consumed, the greater the risk of cancer.
00:35The advisory states for some cancers, including breast, mouth, and throat cancers,
00:41the risk of developing cancer may increase with one or fewer drinks per day.
