00:00Jeremy, do you want to start us off?
00:23Is today one of those days when, in spite of the result, you can be proud of your performance?
00:30I'm hugely proud. I'm shattered that the boys didn't get the rewards they deserved because we were outstanding.
00:36Our football was outstanding against a very good opponent who's in good form and in a good place.
00:42I thought it was brilliant, outstanding and it's a game we deserve to win and on any other day we would have won.
00:49Can I ask your opinion of that first goal?
00:52No, because I know what everyone wants me to say but all I'll say is that
00:57on any other day, on a fair and even playing ground, we would have won that game. Simple as that.
01:02Don't keep asking me about the decision. If you guys have no opinion about it, that's fine.
01:08I know what my opinion is and, as I said, if that was a different day and it was an even and fair playing ground,
01:16we would have won that game.
01:19How did it make Brandon Austin's day?
01:21It was great. Everyone was great. Unbelievable. Considering what we had to put up,
01:25Radu and Archie literally got off sick beds to play today and Radu was shattered at half-time.
01:31Brandon, we only found out yesterday he was playing. I can't be prouder of the players.
01:37I'm just angry and disappointed that it wasn't football that denied them getting the rewards today.
01:44Can you talk us through a little bit about what you've been through in terms of dealing with this?
01:52Just a bug. Radu and Archie were bedridden all week. Fraser, obviously, but he's still bedridden.
02:02He's still really struggling with it. There's others, a couple, but like I said, Radu was just spent half-time.
02:09He just didn't have any more to give. Like I said, Thursday we literally had, I think, 11 fit players for training.
02:16But I don't care about that. What I care about is that the players put in an unbelievable performance,
02:23fantastic football, created chances, denied them, had to defend strongly, which we did,
02:29and it's unfair on them more than anything else that they don't get the rewards they deserve today.
02:36And, Jim, in the circumstances, what was your thinking behind leaving football for the senior players
02:41and pursuing the starting line-up?
02:44Just a combination. I thought we were going to need some energy, some running power early on,
02:48and I thought as the game wore on we'd be able to then use the experience of the guys who came on.
02:54I thought it worked well. I thought we were finished really strong.
02:59Like I said, we started the game really well, and the only thing that kind of stopped us in our tracks was not football.
03:05So, you know, that was the whole idea about it.
03:08And I think it's important that guys like Sonny and Biss and Madison let us to an extent,
03:13but they played a lot of football, and I think having them fresh helps them mentally as much as physically.
03:20And I thought all three, when they came on, made a real difference for us.
03:23Major, is this not your concern right now, the England manager being here,
03:27but don't let this make it to the performance stage.
03:29Brilliant. Yeah, brilliant. But I think the whole team was.
03:32Considering everything we had to go through and the situation we're in right now,
03:37to put on a performance like that, I take my hat off to the players.
03:41I thought they were outstanding, and I'm just really, really angry,
03:44as angry as I've ever been, I think, in my career,
03:46that they were denied the right rewards for a fantastic performance.
03:54Does that performance give you real confidence that things will stop?
03:58I have never lacked confidence, Tom.
04:00I get that the results aren't there, and I get, you know,
04:03whether people want to accept the situation we're in or the circumstances.
04:06But I'm just so – I mean, you saw the performance of Archie, you saw Lucas today.
04:12It's unbelievable, as an 18-year-old, to play in that position.
04:17I just see so much to be positive about.
04:20But we need to win games of football, and usually, usually,
04:26when you play well and you do most things right, you do get the rewards.
04:32Unfortunately, we were denied today.
04:34Hans, when you say you're angry that the Spurs were denied the results,
04:38just to clarify, is that the officiating of the result?
04:41Look, you can clarify – I know you just want me to say something,
04:45but I'm not going to.
04:46I think it's clear.
04:47Now, whether people agree with me or not, you think it wasn't handball
04:50or it was accidental or whatever,
04:52I'm just not interested in any of that discussion.
04:54What I'm saying is that on any given day, with a fair and even playing field
04:58and logical thought processes, we would have won that game.
05:01That's it.
05:02So, you can make what you want of that.
05:04I mean, I don't know what else to say about it.
05:07Cheers.
