A search for a lost silver statue causes Scrooge and the others to discover a jungle duck. Much to Mrs Beakley's surprise, the jungle duck is a Prince whom she was once a nanny to long ago.
The episode kicks off with Scrooge McDuck sharing a secret with his family: an ancient treasure map that leads to a mysterious jungle temple. The map is linked to the Legend of Jungle Duck, a long-lost ancestor of Scrooge’s who disappeared under strange circumstances many years ago. This ancestor, known as Jungle Duck, was an adventurous and daring explorer who sought riches in the treacherous jungle. He left behind an incredible treasure hidden within a jungle temple.

Scrooge, feeling it's time to uncover more of his family’s history, decides to take the kids—Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby—on an expedition to find this treasure. The family sets off to the dense, dangerous jungle, and along the way, they encounter a variety of challenges: wild animals, perilous terrain, and puzzling ancient traps.

The adventure takes a dangerous turn when they learn that Magica De Spell is also after the Jungle Duck’s treasure. Magica, always scheming to get her hands on Scrooge's wealth, intends to use the treasure for her own dark purposes, adding a layer of urgency and conflict to the journey.

As they venture deeper into the jungle, Scrooge and the kids begin to uncover clues that reveal more about Jungle Duck’s past and why he disappeared. They explore ancient ruins and face many obstacles, including navigating a series of traps that protect the treasure. However, each time the family is about to find the treasure, Magica interferes, leading to a series of confrontations and exciting chases.

Despite the setbacks and the dangers they face, Scrooge’s family remains united, determined to find the treasure. Ultimately, they learn that Jungle Duck did not disappear because of his greed or ambition but because he made a selfless decision to protect the treasure from falling into the wrong hands. Jungle Duck’s actions were driven by a sense of duty to protect not just wealth, but the people who would be affected by it.

In the end, Scrooge realizes that the true treasure was not gold or riches, but the lessons learned from his ancestor’s legacy. The journey also brings Scrooge closer to his family, emphasizing the importance of their bond and shared experiences over material wealth.

The episode concludes with the family returning home, enriched not by treasure but by the understanding of Jungle Duck’s sacrifices and the value of their own relationships.
