#Telugu Stories
Once, in ancient India, there lived King Midas, a ruler who was rich but always wanted more. One day, a divine sage visited his kingdom, and Midas, eager for wealth, wished for a magical gift: everything he touched should turn to gold. The sage granted his wish.

At first, Midas was ecstatic. He touched rocks, trees, and even his throne, turning them into glittering gold. But his joy faded when he tried to eat, as even his food turned to gold. His heartbreak deepened when his beloved daughter ran to hug him and turned into a golden statue.

Desperate and regretful, Midas begged the sage to take back the gift. The sage, moved by his sincerity, told him to bathe in the sacred river. As Midas did, the golden touch washed away, and his daughter came back to life. From that day, Midas learned the value of love and contentment over greed.

Moral: True wealth lies in love, relationships, and contentment, not material riches.
