00:00The ballot phase is now ready for printing ballots for overseas and local absentee voting for the Hatol ng Bayan 2025.

00:15Louisa, the Commission on Elections is continuously preparing for the start of printing ballots
00:23that will be used for the 2025 National and Local Elections.
00:28The Comelec asked the media this morning to check the Memory Configuration Room
00:34and Election Management System Server Room
00:36where the system is isolated and has no internet access so that the system will not be hacked.
00:41The EMS also included the hash code for the 2025 elections that will also be seen on the Comelec website.
00:49It is not easy to get in because only a few people were allowed to enter.
00:54The Comelec Law Department will continue to print ballots on the list of candidates
00:59before the ballot phase is uploaded to the Comelec website.
01:02The ballot phase will also be shown to the media for overseas voting and local absentee voting.
01:08The names of 66 candidates for the Senate and 155 party list groups are listed here.
01:16Up to 1,667 ballot phase templates will be used by the Commission for each town, city, and district in the country.
01:27Louisa, tomorrow, the hard drive containing the ballot phase will be transported to the National Printing Office
01:36where it will be used to load the ballots.
01:39Meanwhile, there are 4,000 automated counting machines, or ACMs, deployed by Comelec throughout the country
01:46to train electoral boards to serve the upcoming elections.
01:51The training will last until January 31.
01:57After this, the ACMs will be used as a contingency for the upcoming 2025 elections.
