00:00Kyle Pitts, the tweaking team, what do you want from me?
00:03We're having fun, man.
00:04Listen, winning money is fun.
00:06We're having fun.
00:06Kyle Pitts, you said it's a disappointment.
00:08I agree with you as a Kyle Pitts manager.
00:10Not what I wanted to see this season.
00:12Has Carolina or Jake Ferguson Dallas against Washington?
00:17Look, Ferguson is probably the one people will go to,
00:22but it hasn't necessarily been great for Ferguson.
00:25I think what I'm going to do here,
00:26and people aren't going to like this,
00:27but I'm just going to play the matchup.
00:30And the matchup is the Carolina Panthers
00:31are terrible against tight ends.
00:33And last week with Michael Penix,
00:35four for 44 and a touchdown from Kyle Pitts.
00:38So maybe, just maybe, there's a glimmer of hope here.
00:41I'm going to play Kyle Pitts.
00:42If I'm willing to play Michael Carter,
00:44I've got to be willing to play Kyle Pitts here at this stage.
00:48Because Pitts, again, the matchup is everything.
00:50That's what you're looking for.
00:51And there's opportunity here where,
00:53maybe just maybe with this other quarterback,
00:55we're finally getting to a situation
00:57where rookies too also tend to check down a little bit,
01:00panic a little bit,
01:01start to look for the tight ends a little bit more.
01:03So I'm going to go play the matchup
01:06and hope that Michael Penix can make Kyle Pitts
01:09a tight end one this week.
01:10Because I think he can.
01:11Whereas Ferguson, I kind of feel like already
01:13I know the answer to that,
01:14which is it's probably a hard no.
01:17All right.
01:17You mentioned Michael Penix.
01:18So the 18th law of thermodynamics
01:20dictates that we must mention Michael Penix.
01:22There is no 18th law of thermodynamics.
01:24Michael Penix versus Carolina,
01:27or Joe Flacco against Jacksonville.
01:29You're expecting points in that game.
01:30Would you lean Flacco here or what?
01:33This one's incredibly close.
01:35I think I'm going to give Flacco the slight edge here.
01:38This is the slight edge.
01:39You know, he's got the complement of weapons here to work with.
01:41He's got Jonathan Taylor.
01:42He's got the run game.
01:44I think Jacksonville could put up enough points to,
01:46again, push this total, which is what we want.
01:48My fear is, you know,
01:50Carolina is a very plucky team,
01:52but they seem to be running out of a little steam here
01:54toward the end of the season.
01:55Like they were really competing there.
01:56And I don't know, maybe at the end here,
01:58they're just running out of a little gas.
02:00Michael Penix, though, is going to go out there
02:02and I'm sure be proficient enough.
02:04Also going to make some plays with his legs.
02:05He's got that big arm potential,
02:06but so does Flacco.
02:07Flacco's got that big play potential too.
02:09And he is only one year removed
02:11from taking the Cleveland Browns team to the playoffs.
02:12Remember that, kids?
02:13Remember when the Cleveland Browns
02:14were in the playoffs last year with Joe Flacco?
02:16It seems like a million years ago.
02:18Doesn't it, Matt?
02:19A million years ago where Joe Flacco was doing that.
02:21Well, Colts aren't going to the playoffs.
02:23And the Colts this off season
02:24really have some soul searching to do.
02:27Are they going to stay the course
02:28with young Anthony Richardson
02:30and give him the reps that he desperately needs
02:32over and over again to get to where he needs to be?
02:35Or are they going to lose patience?
02:37And that's going to be a really interesting off season
02:39to watch there.
02:39Watch what the Colts do with that quarterback position.
02:41Oh, boy.
02:43Dun, dun, dun!
02:44All right.
02:45Final one we have here is Kenneth Gainwell.
02:48Will he?
02:48In Saquon Barkley's stead against the Giants.
02:50Or Rome Adunze, a fun name to say.
02:53One of the bright spots in Chicago.
02:55But he's at Green Bay.
02:56Joe?
02:58Yeah, I'm going to go take the guy
02:59who's going to the ball in his hands more.
03:00And that is Kenneth Gainwell.
03:02So Saquon Barkley not playing today.
03:03So Gainwell, an interesting guy for some of the props too.
03:05The Giants are, you know, again, not a great defensive team.
03:08So I'm going to be looking for Kenneth Gainwell here.
03:11Another guy that has, when he's given the opportunity,
03:13has shown that he could be a decent NFL running back
03:16for a short period of time.
03:18I'm not looking for him to be a world leader today.
03:21But I think he's got a floor.
03:23And Rome Adunze was dealing with an injury coming into this week.
03:26He's off the injury report.
03:28So that is a good thing for Rome Adunze,
03:30who I think has a bright future.
03:31Let me just say, I think going into next year,
03:34I would not be shocked if D.J. Moore
03:36was actually the guy moved on from.
03:38And D.J. Moore has been incredibly consistent.
03:40But it's kind of sad when you've had better seasons
03:42with Kyle Allen than you have with Caleb Williams.
03:45And if you look at the tail of the tape
03:47for the crappy quarterback play
03:49that D.J. Moore has had to deal with in his career,
03:52D.J. Moore could help a lot of teams.
03:54And if I'm the bears, you know,
03:56Keenan Allen certainly doesn't seem like a guy who's done.
03:59And he has had a good rapport with Caleb Williams.
04:01Rome Adunze, you drafted, hopefully to be a stud.
04:05Now, why you drafted him and not more line help,
04:07I'll never understand.
04:08Because you already had D.J. Moore
04:10and he had Keenan Allen.
04:12So again, this is why Ryan Poles really is,
04:15I think, done and dusted as the GM.
