The Dallas Cowboys closed their 2024-25 regular season with a 23-19 loss to the Washington Commanders. Quarterback Trey Lance started for the first time since 2022, throwing for 244 yards on 20-of-34 passing.

Micah Parsons shined early with 2.0 sacks, giving him 10.0 for the season and placing him in elite company with four consecutive double-digit sack seasons. Kicker Brandon Aubrey set a franchise record with his 37th field goal of the season.

Dallas led 9-3 in the third quarter before Washington rallied. Marcus Mariota replaced Jayden Daniels and threw two touchdowns, including a game-winning strike to Terry McLaurin with five seconds remaining. Mariota finished 15-of-18 for 161 yards and two scores.

Dallas ends the season 7-10, while Washington finishes 12-5, securing the NFC's sixth playoff seed.
