00:00126 days before the May 2025 elections,

00:12the printing of balotas will start today.

00:15Comelec said that there will be changes in the appearance and color of the balotas to be used this year.

00:24This will be the appearance of the balotas that will be used in the election of 2025.

00:32The font style of the names of the candidates is bold so that it is easier to see.

00:36The colors are also more eye-catching compared to the ones used in the election of 2022.

00:41There are also security marks.

00:43The Commission on Elections has inspected one of the 1,667 balot-face templates

00:49that will be the basis on which the balotas will be printed.

00:52After the law department, within the day,

00:54they will finish all of it and they will return it to our ITD group.

01:00So, what is the next step that they will do?

01:04They will implement everything, encode everything.

01:06After that, they will serialize it.

01:09That is the serial number.

01:11There is a distinct and specific serial number for each balota.

01:15All of that can be seen on the official website of Comelec

01:18so that all the candidates and voters can check it.

01:21You can also see on the balot-face template

01:23that the names of the disqualified or declared nuisance candidates

01:28have been removed as long as the decision of Comelec is final and executory.

01:31But, how will the candidates who will come out of the decision in their case?

01:35We will prioritize overseas and local absentee voting.

01:39The law department has sufficient time to implement it.

01:44They will stay in the balota.

01:47What will we do if there is a case where the MR is pending?

02:17that will be brought to different places in the Philippines

02:20for the training of all poll workers.

02:22It will not be completed in the training

02:24because each member of the electoral board needs to be DOSD certified.

02:29They are being tested and examined.

02:33they will be allowed to serve.
