00:02the 6-time All-Star and 2-time NBA champion Kawhi Leonard was able to play.

00:07He came back after getting his knee injured.

00:11How was the performance of the Los Angeles Clippers superstar?

00:21The 6-time All-Star Kawhi Leonard is back in the Los Angeles Clippers' lineup.

00:28This Sunday morning,

00:30it was time for the Philippines to court Leonard for the first time

00:35this 2024-2025 NBA regular season

00:39in a home game against the Atlanta Hawks.

00:42This was also the first time Kawhi played in the new home of the Inuit Dome Clippers.

00:49The 2-time NBA champion was under a minute's restriction

00:53so that his body wouldn't be affected.

00:56Leonard played for 19 minutes

00:59where he scored 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist.

01:05Even though their superstar's game was limited,

01:08the Clippers were still able to win against Atlanta 131-105.

01:14Despite Kawhi's long career,

01:16he didn't have a hard time with the adjustments he underwent.

01:21There's nothing hard about playing in the NBA.

01:23You know, he did the right steps to get me to this point.

01:27Playing basketball was the easy part of it.

01:29This is what I love to do.

01:31The hard part is not playing,

01:34having to rehab, and not competing with my teammates.

01:38Even though he didn't make it to the court,

01:40Leonard believes that it's good to show

01:42the victory of his opponent against the Hawks.

01:47I think tonight, we played great on the defensive end.

01:51We got a lot of deflections, a lot of easy points in transition.

01:55And, you know, we still got some room to improve

02:00with some of our turnovers.

02:02Obviously, you know, this is my first game.

02:05You know, we're going to keep building from that.

02:07And with me, getting the rhythm.

02:11Leonard and the Clippers will be back in action

02:14on Tuesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves

02:17in a home game.

02:18At the moment, the LA Clippers are in the 7th place
