ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯನ್ನು “ಮಹಿಳಾ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಪಕ್ಷ” ಎಂದು  ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕರೆದಿದ್ದು.. ಬಿಧುರಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳು “ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೇಡಿನವು” ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ “ಕೊಳಕು” ಮನಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಹರಿಹಾಯ್ದಿದೆ. Calling the BJP an "anti-women party", the Congress said Bidhuri's remarks were "shameful" and reflected his "dirty" attitude towards women.
