00:00Full-time here at Anfield, we're ending Liverpool 2 Man United 2. At the start of the day, Liverpool fans were desperate for the game to go ahead after Snow hit Merseyside overnight.
00:12In hindsight, these wished that the game would have been postponed because Liverpool just went at the races against the United side, who has plenty of troubles this season.
00:22They were really poor. They struggled, Liverpool, to really break United down and third place at 2 Man United. They've had their issues but they were pretty decent, you have to say.
00:36First half, Liverpool made an okay start actually. Cosi Gafpo had a decent chance where he just put it past the post and Alexis McAllister had a volley save, made a late run into the box.
00:50United started to get into the game and Ahmad Diallo had a chance ahead of him but he couldn't direct on goal. Then Rasmus Huygens had a decent opportunity for United.
01:02It wasn't a massive surprise when the visitors took the lead after the break. It was a poor goal conceded on Liverpool's behalf. Trent Alexander-Arnold gave the ball away and was well out of position.
01:16Lissandro Martinez, a man United centre-back who was out of position, that didn't matter to them because he finished emphatically. He was a season centre-forward, a really good finish.
01:27Liverpool reacted well to the credit and they were level through Cosi Gafpo in the 59th minute. A fantastic pass from Alexis McAllister. I thought he was man of the match today.
01:39Played it through to Gafpo who cut in size and fired home. Liverpool then in the 70th minute went ahead. Maybe a little bit fortunate because there were issues of penalty when Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross hit the arms of Matthias De Ligt.
01:53I originally write that referee Michael Oliver didn't give the decision but he was recommended to review it on the Pizzeria Montreux by VAR and he decided that De Ligt had hit his hand. Maybe a little bit harsh because it looked like McAllister might have just got a header on the ball before it.
02:11Penalty was given, Mo Salah stepped up and Mo Salah tucked home. Liverpool, when they've gone ahead and gave the season, they've been so controlled, they've tucked the sting out of it. It wasn't the way the game opened up which was a surprise. United got back into it.
02:29Through Ahmad Diallo, the ball came in from the left-hand side. He got in front of Andy Robertson and finished. Both sides had chances towards the end. Virgil van Dijk, one from close range, might be disappointed. Harry Maguire, that's one that he blazed over the bar. I think a share of the spoils was probably a fair result.
02:49Liverpool come into this game in really good form. United lost their past four in all competitions. I don't think Liverpool underestimated them because I've been saying how much quality United have but they just struggle to break United down for a lot of the game. United do have some really good players who can hurt Liverpool and that they did.
03:13Disappointing, they haven't gone eight points clear, they'll be disappointed. We're six points ahead of Arsenal with the game in hand. If any supporter had thought that at the halfway stage of the season Liverpool would be in this position, they'd have told you that you were kidding. It's a fantastic start, that's what you've got to think of.

Big game for Liverpool, Arnold Slot you think might make a couple of changes but Liverpool just have to put this one behind them and finish Liverpool 2-1 United 2.
