00:00Something of a new manager bounce under Vitor Pereira, the new boss at Molineux has overseen
00:08two wins and a draw since he's taken charge. Of course, a great 3-0 away win at Leicester
00:14City against Ruud van Nistelrooy. Then coming back to Molineux to beat Manchester United
00:182-0, and let's be honest, they were poor but Wolves were very good, so I'd like to give
00:22credit to Wolves for that performance. And you go to Spurs who are a bit up and down,
00:27you don't know what sort of Spurs you're going to catch, and to be fair to Wolves,
00:32you could have won that game. You did have the lead at one point, Spurs obviously did
00:36come back into it as well, but I think all in all it was a good, solid draw away from
00:41home against a good side. So I think credit has to go to Vitor Pereira, because let's
00:47be honest, under Gary O'Neill, you could argue some players were still playing for him, but
00:51you could argue that others weren't, that some of the fighting that was going on after
00:54the games had finished. So what's your view on Vitor Pereira? How do you think he studied
00:59the ship so well in such a short space of time?
01:03Yeah I think it is probably, as you mentioned there, the discipline sort of situation. We've
01:09seen it a few times over the last couple of seasons. Eric Ten Haag notably at Manchester
01:13United came in and that was his first priority, was to sort out the discipline and the Cristiano
01:18Ronaldo situation as well. And I think Vitor Pereira has looked from the outset, if and
01:25when Wolves were to go down, these are the type of clips that get played at the end of
01:30the games and they're rattling each other, fighting. It's all sort of recipes for relegation
01:36when your team starts to do that and he must have come in and he's clearly been laid out
01:41the structure, you must keep Wolves in the top flight, just as Lopetegui was given that
01:48role a few seasons ago. It's obviously a massive impact in such a short space. I think he brings
01:55a bit more tactical now than Gary O'Neill, it's fair to say. Players, as you say, did
02:00sort of stop fighting for O'Neill at the end of it and he got a few things wrong. He had
02:06some great moments at Wolves but notably this season, maybe you can't really blame him due
02:11to the lack of investment in the summer, a failing business model where you buy young
02:18talents, you make them a talent, you give them a huge platform, Pedro Neto, Ruben Neves,
02:25these top players and then you sell them on for extra profit, which is fine as long as
02:30you replace them and Wolves have completely and utterly failed in that department. So
02:34Vitor Pereira, I think he's had a great impact with the foreign players as well, the likes
02:39of Giao Gomez, Andres, looking really good. Mateus Cunha is obviously one of the best
02:43talents in the league this season, it's fair to say. Jose Sar as well is a massive sort
02:48of situation they had to sort out with the goalkeeping department. But so far, so good
02:52for Vitor Pereira and Wolves fans are just hoping that he can keep them up this season.
