Presiden Prabowo Subianto memerintahkan instansi terkait untuk menggunakan bahan baku yang bersumber dari desa dan dalam negeri untuk Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG). Hal itu dilakukan dengan melibatkan koperasi hingga badan usaha milik desa (bumdes).
"Jadi arahan presiden, (MBG) ini harus bahan bakunya harus dari Indonesia, dari desa, sehingga bisa menggerakkan ekonomi masyarakat. Bukan impor," kata Menteri Koperasi, Budi Arie Setiadi, dalam keterangannya yang dikutip pada Minggu (5/1/2025).
