00:00Thanks for joining us, Garrett. You're here in your first Australian summer racing a sprint car for Tim Van Ginnigan. How's it been so far?
00:07It's been really good, you know. A lot of fun, had a good time, seen a lot of new things, a lot of new people.
00:12And yeah, we've really just enjoyed the whole atmosphere and how welcoming everyone is.
00:17And obviously the racing's been fun, so it's just been a really enjoyable trip so far.
00:21And you had your best race so far on New Year's Day at Premier, the place where the Classic is in a few weeks' time. How important was that for you?
00:29That was huge, you know. We came off a good week. Not the results we were looking for, but also we were just kind of fighting.
00:35Not fighting, but just trying to figure out where we needed the race car for me to be comfortable and for it to be fast.
00:40So there's a fine line there. And then obviously for the New Year's race at Premier was really good.
00:46We kind of found something and pulled around real nice and ran third.
00:49And hit it with a win with Miele, and obviously Miele gets around everywhere good.
00:54To have that speed there, you know, that's obviously what's so great about the Classic.
00:58If I was going to be fast anywhere, I'd rather be there, so that was good.
01:01What's it been like working with Tim and his team?
01:03It's been good, you know. The whole family's been super awesome to be around.
01:07You know, come all the way across the country and have no idea who anyone is, really.
01:11Just like some people I've met back at home, but they're not here.
01:14You know, they just kind of show up and they've opened us with big arms and just kind of took care of us.
01:19And anything with Miele they can fend over backwards.
01:22It's a good atmosphere. We've had a lot of fun.
