The peaceful process was a stark contrast to four years ago, when Trump supporters stormed the Capitol after the then-president falsely claimed the election was rigged.

02:43And those wanting to see him live up to his word won't have much longer to wait.
02:47Trump's inauguration is set for January 20th.
