The famous faces who have dined at Glasgow’s La Lanterna

We speak to the team at La Lanterna to hear about the famous faces who have visited.

00:00Lots of famous, sort of famous people like to, we like to take picture with them to show they're coming to us.

00:08Just this social media became very, very important, you know, as you know, recently.

00:14So, like, people like to see who's coming, who's going, so they can make comment or things like that.

00:20And we like, you know, famous, famous.

00:23We had, you know, lots of... Paolo Nutini is one of the regular, we love to come.

00:30Kevin Bridges, footballer, they like to come.

00:34And... lots.

00:37Any particular famous faces, your favourite stories with them, like Michael Keaton coming on or whatever else?

00:43That was amazing. Michael Keaton was one of the biggest ones.

00:48In fact, he always said he was nearly ready to take me to America.

00:52He said, you can come with me and cook the ravioli.

00:55You know, I think he had the ravioli at that time.

00:58And he said, you can come with me in America and be my personal chef.

01:02And I said, no, sorry.

01:04I think he was in Glasgow.

01:06It was over a weekend, I think he was in Glasgow.

01:08And I think he came to eat here the three nights that he was in.

01:11He came and he kept coming back.

01:13Robert Duvall. I remember Robert Duvall.

01:16I think Robert Duvall was one of my big, big names.

01:25And I think he was here when he did a movie with Halle McCoy.

01:29They were here.

01:31And that was striking, unbelievable.

01:33I can't believe cooking for Robert Duvall.

01:36And same in Glasgow.

01:37Chris Pine recently, when we opened, a long time ago.

01:42But it's not just famous people.
