00:00I think, in many ways, it's not a question of whether or not we can do something about
00:30it. It's not a question of whether should we be American or Danish citizens. It's a
00:33question of whether should we maybe collaborate a bit more with the U.S. We shouldn't be bought
00:38by anyone, because Greenland is not for sale and Greenland will not be for sale, but we
00:43can have a closer collaboration on business development with the U.S.
00:50My reaction to the Trump visit is that all American tourists are welcome in Greenland.
01:02We just had a new landing strip, and we would like to see much more business development
01:07and especially tourism, but also the extraction of raw earth materials in Greenland is something
01:12that we're quite interested in. So if you only look at it from a visit from an American
01:18tourist, I think it's great. But we all know that the timing and also the dad to Trump
01:26Jr. is of course saying that he would like to own and control Greenland, and we don't
01:32like that. We find it quite disrespectful in Greenland.
01:40I think some people find it interesting for now that Trump Jr. is in Greenland, but I
01:45also think that a lot of people in Greenland are quite critical towards especially Trump.
01:51They would like to see a closer collaboration. We would like to see a closer collaboration
01:55with the U.S. and also with Canada, of course, because we're part of the North American continent
02:00and I think it makes a lot of sense to collaborate the other way around as well. But I also think
02:06a close collaboration with Denmark is important for us when it comes to health care, when
02:10it comes to education.
