An Australian hiker has been found alive after surviving two weeks alone in New South Wales's Snowy Mountains region. He survived by foraging for berries and water before he was found by a group of hikers.

00:00An Australian hiker has been found alive after surviving almost two weeks alone
00:05in the mountains of New South Wales. Hadi Nazari got lost on December 26th
00:10after he wandered off to take photos during a hike with his friends in
00:14Kosciuszko National Park. He was found 13 days later by a group of hikers as
00:19hundreds of emergency services and volunteers searched for him. Police say
00:24the 23-year-old survived by foraging for food and water. Some creeks up there
00:30and he said he'd been been finding water where he could and and foraging for food
00:34where he could in terms of berries. At one point he said he found a couple of
00:38muesli bars in a hut. Rescuers say Nazari had no significant injuries and is in
00:44good spirits.
