Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto held a closed-door discussion focusing on efforts to strengthen bilateral relations in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday (Jan 9).

The meeting, held during a private luncheon hosted by Anwar at Rumah Tangsi, was part of Prabowo's one-day working visit to Malaysia.

00:48and the third-largest among ASEAN member states in 2023.
00:53This is Prabowo's first working visit to Malaysia since assuming office in October
00:572024.
00:59He was scheduled to meet Anwar in Langkawi on December 23 as a stopover following his
01:05Egypt visit to attend the D-8 summit in Cairo.
01:08However, the President skipped the Malaysian visit and proceeded to return directly to
01:13Jakarta to convene a year-end preparation meeting with his aides upon landing.
