00:00Well, today we have a special guest, who is an international singer, who has a lot of fame in the international market.
00:07Today, he was a special guest here, before the inauguration session of the Pravasi Bhartiya Day II by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
00:16He sang a song, Aaiye Aaiye Mere Desh Mere Dhoop.
00:21It was really very interesting when I was hearing that music and your song.
00:27Really, sir, it was very... Sukun Milta Hai.
00:31So, what would you like to say, sir?
00:33Thank you so much. The name of the song is Aauji.
00:35And it's a song about that you can take an Indian out of India, but you can never take the Indianess out of an Indian.
00:42So, it's about that if you're Indian, we can travel around the world, but home is always, you know, India.
00:47Even if you're not born in India, but if you're of Indian origin, we still feel that India is our home.
00:52And the song is to encourage our entire diaspora of 35 million people to actually work towards creating a Vixit Bharat, a developed nation by 2047.
01:02Yeah, Prime Minister has triggered 2047, India has to be a Vixit Bharat.
01:06So, India and diaspora, as you were a part of that, how do you like to invest your, if you'll see, your diversities, your ideas, your thoughts in that way?
01:22I think everybody has their own way to contribute towards a Vixit Bharat.
01:26It could be through arts, it could be through culture, it could be through finances, it could be through investments, it could be through not-for-profits, through NGOs.
01:34There are many, many ways that you can actually invest in India or just speaking about India in different parts of the world.
01:39As Prime Minister Modi said that each person can just bring five people from their own countries who are not part of the Indian diaspora to India to visit.
01:46So, there are multiple ways that you can do towards contributing towards India.
01:50And one way to contribute towards India is not to put down India anywhere else, you know, because there are a lot of people who actually do that all the time.
01:56So, one way to contribute to India is that, you know, that just speak well about India because I think India is a beautiful country.
02:01India has a lot to offer to the rest of the world in terms of soft power and in terms of economics and policies and everything.
02:09So, I believe that, you know, we should showcase India in the best possible way all over the world.
02:14How do you like to paint the canvas of PVD 2025?
02:18Of?
02:19Paint the canvas of Odisha PVD 2025.
02:23What's PVD?
02:24You, this Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.
02:26Oh, Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.
02:29Okay.
02:30Okay.
02:31Everyone gets a short form.
02:32As you are hurry, so…
02:34Anyhow, so, this…
02:36So, I think I am very happy that Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has happened in Odisha because I think Odisha has got a lot to offer the world in terms of arts, in terms of culture, in terms of ancient traditions, temples, architecture and even in terms of tribal culture, you know, because there is so much…
02:53I have travelled the length and breadth of Odisha.
02:54I have met with tribals everywhere in Odisha.
02:56I have collaborated with the tribal farmers on creating music and I believe that the songs that they sing about, what they talk about, about ancient beliefs, ancient cultures, ancient traditions, I think all of that the world can learn from them because right now I believe that, you know, humanity, we have taken a wrong turn and, you know, and we are…
03:18What we are doing is that our idea and definition of development is always against the environment whereas if you look at the tribals, their idea of development is always in collaboration and in coexistence with nature and wildlife.
03:29So, there are so many things that we can learn from Odisha and I hope that through this event which is happening over here, the world can learn a lot from Odisha.
03:35You are a multi-talented human being.
03:37What about the food of Odisha?
03:39I love the food of Odisha.
03:42But of course, the thing is that I have not been able to… I have not been exposed to too much.
03:46I like the mushrooms that are grown in Odisha.
03:48I think that's amazing.
03:49Then of course, Rasgulla, that's Odia, right?
03:52The legacy of Odisha.
03:55The legacy of Odisha.
03:56Because it is the prasad of Lord Jagannath.
03:58Of course, it's got its origins with Lord Jagannath and I love…
04:01In fact, I just had two, you know, actually three Rasgullas at lunch.
04:06So, I mean, I love the food of Odisha and even the way that Odisha uses mustard and various other condiments.
04:13I love it, yeah.
04:14Mr. Kriz, lastly, in the Asia-Pacific, ETV Bharat is a big player in the mojo, right?
04:21So, fan followers are much.
04:25So, I want to request you a song of yours.
04:28I don't sing actually because I am a composer.
04:31I don't sing.
04:32So, if I sing for you, then whatever little fans I have, they will also run away, yeah.
04:36No, no, absolutely not.
04:38But thank you so much.
04:39Okay.
04:41Thank you, sir.
