00:22and the fact that we get to share it at Shelby,
00:24maybe farther, we're lucky.
00:26But what matters most to me about it
00:29is that we share this experience with people
00:32and getting to have someone else
00:35understand exactly what it's like
00:37for all these different kinds of people to work with.
00:39Because they've heard the stories,
00:40they've seen the news,
00:41they've heard the videos,
00:42they've seen interviews on TV,
00:44blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:45But they haven't necessarily seen something
00:48quite like this,
00:49where it's a bunch of kids
00:52really coming together and trying to
00:55share genuinely what it feels like,
00:58not just what it sounds like
00:59or what it looks like.
01:00You know, our ensemble's ability to adapt
01:04and do all this really cool stuff
01:06in the midst of it all happening.
01:07One thing that makes our show so personal to us
01:10is how much, is how we, first of all,
01:12how we have experienced it ourselves,
01:14and second of all, how it reflects
01:17so much of Southern culture
01:19and how we have such a unique experience
01:22with the hurricane.
01:23We can see that in our character dynamics.
01:25We have a family that is
01:27very reliant on their church.
01:28We have a family that runs a Christmas tree farm
01:31and a coffee shop,
01:32and those are things that we see in our hometown.
01:35And it's just, it's really cool to see
01:38our community reflected in our show itself,
01:42and we are able to bring light to this issue.
01:47The water came so fast.
01:48It roared.
01:49It rushed.
01:50It rattled.
01:51It took our church,
01:53our farm,
01:54our shop,
01:55our home.
