00:00Let's have a biscoff gingerbread or a pistachio Nutella.
00:04It started during lockdown, I basically was out of work and I was working in hospitality
00:10and I thought, hold on a second, what can I do? And my nana is the one that told me how to make
00:15tiramisu. So I started to make tiramisu during lockdown and then I was basically delivering door
00:21by door during lockdown, so I was quite busy. And then from there we started to do different markets
00:28and here we are in Pears Garden to show you. And what do you think it is that people love
00:33about tiramisu? I think definitely the fact that we don't put any alcohol, it's alcohol free
00:39and we do different flavours. So we've got the Pastel Coast, my nana's recipe, fantastic,
00:44with coffee and then the other flavours like black forest, pistachio Nutella,
00:48biscoff gingerbread, they're all without coffee. And for those who don't know, what does tiramisu
00:53mean? So it's basically four layers of heaven, that's how I like to describe it. So it's a
00:59combination of mascarpone cream and savoiardi, which is like these biscuits over here.
01:04And yeah, so it's like a trifle kind of texture. And why was it so popular do you think over
01:11lockdown? I've no idea, I think everybody needed a little bit of like a sweet, like something,
01:18I don't know, that made them feel better. Do you know what the translation of tiramisu is in Italian?
01:23It's pick me up, tiramisu. So it's perfect, right?
