With prices raising rapidly with inflation many are swapping branded everyday products for supermarkets’ own, at a lower price point. We ask what people think about these.

00:00As far as I'm aware, the people who make the own brands are actually the same people who make the branded ones.
00:09So it is a con, in my opinion. I would rather stick to the supermarkets' brands.
00:16Their own brand stuff's not very good quality.
00:19A lot of those supermarket own brands are just as good or better.
00:22Some of them are like, they've got a different kind of better taste to them than that.
00:26Aldi and Lidl stuff's really, really good because obviously it's all their own stuff.
00:30I've noticed a huge difference in price.
00:32In my opinion, I would actually shop in, for example, if I may say Lidl or Asda.
00:39I suppose you could get more classic brands like Iron Brew or Coca-Cola or something.
00:45That's a branded thing, you can't really replace that.
00:48But a lot of cereals and different things are like, general products are really good for the supermarket and they're cheaper and better.
00:55But be conscious of the price, and I think we can all be conscious of the price if we really try.
