01:01Thank you so much for speaking to ENI. I want to ask EBD, how do you look at it? It has concluded now and your takeaway from this year's Pravasi Bhatia Diwas.
01:15Well we've just completed the 18th Pravasi Bhatia Diwas convention and you
01:25know I have myself attended many of them, some as minister, some as secretary, some as ambassador and I must tell you I felt that this time in many ways it was a very good PPD, it was very well organized, the feedback from the Pravasis was very good.
01:47The sense we got from our partner which is state government of Odisha was again something which was very appreciative, they felt okay this was a forum, people came, it allowed them to present the state in a way.
02:04And if I myself took the larger purpose of what the PPD event is about, it is a kind of a gathering, you are trying to bring people from different parts of the world all together.
02:23There is a certain in fact I would say almost intermixture between them, interaction between them, that was very lively and you saw you know there were four exhibitions, one presenting Odisha state, one on how actually the epic of Ramayana has played out in different countries,
02:52one on the maritime movement of the diaspora, particularly from the western coast to Amman but other parts to Trinidad to Bago to Mauritius etc.
03:04And there was one on the contribution which PIOs and NRIs had made.
03:09So I felt the exhibitions were well done, the gathering was lively, the panels were quite active.
03:17I think you saw I attended one of them most of the time I was meeting individual delegates or in groups but I felt that the Nari Shakti one I attended was I saw a lot of people, a lot of interest.
03:31So I think there is a sort of good cause to be satisfied about it but having said that you know we always improve with every event, we take feedback, we ask people where we fell short, we ask people what they think you know they could do better.
03:53So it's a kind of know your customer, seek your customer kind of endeavour.
