00:08The 35-year-old suspect, Jakaria Siddiq Jamani, was caught at the border of Zamboanga City
00:13and Basilan Strait.
00:14Three other suspects, Abdul Sahibad, Mursid Ahud, and Fahad Sahibad, were killed in a
00:19police and military encounter in Zamboanga, Cebuguay on November 12, 2024.
00:23Police say Jamani is likely the mastermind behind the abduction of Eastman.
00:27While the motive remains undisclosed, there are speculations that one of the suspects
00:31was jealous of Eastman for marrying his ex-partner.
00:34Eastman's body was allegedly dumped in Zamboanga waters and has not been recovered.
