00:00as we're going to head to Orchard Park and the Buffalo Bills get ready to take on.
00:06I got nothing but good things to say about what Sean Payton and Bo Nix did together this year.
00:11Rookie quarterback. Nobody saw them winning even six games, much less 10 games, and finding
00:19themselves in a spot here as in a playoff game, but that's exactly where they are.
00:25We saw Buffalo get steamed up earlier in the week. Now we're starting to see a little more
00:31Denver money come back into play. 47 and a half is the total. I'm not seeing any crazy
00:37Orchard Park weather, you know, not 40 mile an hour gusts, minus three or snow. I'm not seeing
00:44any of that just yet for this game, but what I do see is one quarterback and one team that has
00:51been there and done this before, taking on a team that is making the playoffs for the first time in
00:57eight years with a rookie quarterback, and I think experience matters this time of year.
01:03What do you think about this number at eight and a half with the Buffalo Bills?
01:09It's what I've said all along this entire season. Not only does Josh Allen have to overcome the team
01:14that he's playing on the field, he also has to overcome his own head coach, and that's my biggest
01:18concern here. There's a major coaching advantage for Sean Payton over Sean McDermott. That's really
01:23what it boils down to. McDermott has been part of the reason why the Bills haven't gotten over the
01:27hump in the last couple of years. He's been out coached, he's been out prepared, and I'm not
01:32giving a pass to Josh Allen per se, but it's a bigger part of the reasons why they have lost
01:37games, particularly home games. So do I have a little bit of concern about the Buffalo Bills here?
01:42A little bit. They're my pick to win it all, but I think when push comes to shove, I just don't know
01:48that Denver has enough offensive firepower to play in a shootout like the Buffalo Bills, and
01:54clearly there is a large gap in quarterback. You know, you go back to again, Joe, first-time
01:59quarterbacks making their first ever start in the postseason and how big of a difference it is between
02:06teams with starting quarterbacks and playoff experience versus teams that don't have it.
02:11You look at first-time quarterbacks making their first-time playoff start 19 and 38 straight up.
02:17When the quarterbacks play, the less experienced quarterbacks play on the road,
02:21they're 11 and 21 straight up, including 12, 19, and 1 against the numbers. So
02:27the big part about this is do you believe the Bills are going to win by two scores?
02:31Probably, but is there a world where the back door is open for Denver to sneak in late in a
02:3627-13 kind of game where they get into a 27-20 kind of deal? Maybe. Yeah, I think that could
02:44be very possible, but Buffalo should theoretically run away with this one,
02:50and especially at home, they should be able to overwhelm Bo Nix.
