00:46:25However, he didn't have much time to think.
00:46:27With her other hand, Aaron had formed an ice spear,
00:46:30and threw it towards her opponent.
00:46:32Suddenly, he felt his legs start to feel cold.
00:46:34When he looked down, he noticed they were starting to freeze.
00:46:37For a second year level 4 earth user,
00:46:39you are incredibly weak.
00:46:41Before the boy could react,
00:46:43Aaron had whacked him in the back of the head
00:46:45with the hilt of her sword.
00:46:46How did she win so easily?
00:46:48The first year students watching said.
00:46:50Although Aaron had finished her match quickly,
00:46:52the same couldn't be said for Layla.
00:46:54The second year student threw out his fist,
00:46:56and a ball of water came out towards her.
00:46:58It hit her, dead in the stomach,
00:47:01and sent her flying back towards the front of the hall near Vorden.
00:47:04Hey you, free me, I can deal with him.
00:47:07What? Layla said as she looked up,
00:47:09noticing that it was Vorden who was speaking to her.
00:47:11Come on, hurry, we don't have much time.
00:47:13Touch my leg.
00:47:15She crawled over to Vorden's side,
00:47:17and touched his leg as he had asked.
00:47:19Then the shackles tied around Vorden's arms and legs
00:47:22started shaking.
00:47:23Vorden was using Layla's telekinesis ability,

00:47:27It wasn't strong enough to break from the shackles.
00:47:29Layla then lifted her hand,
00:47:31and with the two of them working together,
00:47:33the shackles were finally removed,
00:47:35and Vorden was free.

00:47:39These were just as sharp as an attack from a regular blade,
00:47:42but could be thrown out.
00:47:44As the blades came towards him,
00:47:46at the last second,

00:47:52He then lifted one of the black balls from the ground,
00:47:54using his telekinesis,
00:47:56and threw it out.
00:47:57However, the attack was easy for the water user to block,
00:48:00forming a water wall stopping the ball,
00:48:02but then, crack!
00:48:03Something was felt on the back of his leg,
00:48:05and at the same time a crunching sound was heard.
00:48:08The boy immediately fell to one knee.
00:48:10As he looked at Vorden in front of him,
00:48:12he could only see Vorden with his hands held out.
00:48:15Then another striking pain was felt through his body,
00:48:18this time on his other ankle.
00:48:20Without realizing it,
00:48:21Vorden had attacked him from behind,
00:48:23pulling the other black balls towards him.
00:48:26The water user was too focused on the attack in front.
00:48:29He never thought about an attack from behind.

00:48:34that Vorden was not an earth user as he thought.

00:49:03As he took a step forward to try to break out of the encirclement,
00:49:06a wind strike came towards him.
00:49:08He quickly went behind the student, grabbing his arm,
00:49:11and at the same time kept one of his claws towards the student's neck,
00:49:14using him as a meat shield.
00:49:16Me and you both know you're not going to hurt him, Quinn, Momo said.
00:49:19If you attack too deep and kill him, you'll be in trouble.
00:49:22Attack too shallow, and we will pounce on you and make you wish you were dead.

00:50:48and those who hadn't been were busy engaging in combat with Layla and Aaron.
00:50:53So you got free, huh? Momo said.
00:50:55Do you not remember what happened to you the last time the two of us fought?
00:50:58Momo taunted.
00:51:00Last time you fought against that weakling, this time you're fighting me,
00:51:03Raiden said. I'm not as nice as Vorden.
00:51:06Raiden lifted both hands, and with it,
00:51:08two more black balls off the ground lifted up.
00:51:11Vorden swung his hands in the air, and the black balls followed the same path.

00:51:18Momo clenched his fist tightly, destroying the black ball held in his hands.
00:51:22He then swung his whip, destroying the other without even looking where it was.

00:51:29While Momo's back was turned, he tried to go in for a strike,
00:51:32but before he even took a step, the whip came flying out and landed just in front of him.
00:51:36Don't even think about it, Momo said.
00:51:39Before Quinn had taken a single step, Momo had already acted.
00:51:43It can't be, Quinn thought.
00:51:45He either had some type of mind-reading ability or future-seeing ability.
00:51:49Quinn's guess about Momo was nearly spot-on.
00:51:52Momo could see two seconds ahead into the future,
00:51:55although it wasn't as clear as others might think.
00:51:57His ability was activated through his eyes.
00:52:00Quinn wasn't the only one who had figured out Momo's ability.
00:52:03Raiden had as well.
00:52:05Who cares if you know what I'm going to do, Raiden shouted.
00:52:08All I need to do is do something you can't block.
00:52:11Raiden then started running towards him.
00:52:13Momo could see the black balls coming at him,
00:52:15and he knew he could do nothing but take a hit.
00:52:18He opted to avoid the water strikes, the more powerful of the attacks,
00:52:22and moved so the balls would hit his back.
00:52:24After being hit with the black balls,
00:52:26Momo moved away from Vorden, creating distance between the two.
00:52:30I have to admit, I didn't expect you to be able to use two abilities.
00:52:34You didn't do something like this last time.
00:52:36It looks like you were hiding a trump card after all, Momo said.
00:52:40But you weren't the only one holding back last time.
00:52:43While in his right hand he held a whip,
00:52:45something started to form in his left hand.
00:52:47At first, it looked just like a bunch of light particles forming something,
00:52:51but then eventually another whip appeared.

00:53:59that he was hiding from everyone similar to himself.
00:54:03Now with Momo's soul weapon, the confidence in him grew.
00:54:07He swung his soul whip and it started to move at lightning speed.
00:54:11In response, Rayton created a wall of water with one hand
00:54:14and started to slow down the whip with the other,
00:54:17but the telekinesis ability was useless
00:54:19and didn't seem to do anything to slow the whip down.
00:54:22Then when the whip had reached the wall of water,
00:54:24it suddenly grew in length and had wrapped around Rutten's arm.
00:54:28Momo pulled forward, dragging Rayton to the ground
00:54:31and then swung out his other whip, lashing against his back.
00:54:34Damn you, Rayton shouted.
00:54:36If only this body wasn't so hurt from before.
00:54:39Now you have gone and done it.
00:54:40You think a soul weapon is strong enough to defeat us?
00:54:43Well, think again.
00:54:44Little one, it's your turn. It's time to give this man hell.
00:54:48Just then though, the doors to the assembly hall were swung wide open
00:54:52and in came a tall, silver-haired female,
00:54:54and standing behind her was Peter.
00:54:56I command everyone to halt this instant, she said.
00:55:00If anyone does not obey this command, prepare to be punished.
