00:00Pintu Masuk KLIA 1 & 2, throughout last year, 2024, recorded the movement of travellers in the amount of 30 million people.
00:18Approximately 30 million people.
00:20This involves release and also arrival.
00:26From the amount I mentioned earlier, 18 million are travellers from overseas.
00:35The rest are our people's travellers.
00:3830 million is a large number, which if our immigration clearance system is not raised from the point of view of its delivery system, it will contribute to the loss.
00:53That's the first.
00:56How much loss?
00:58How much loss?
01:00I had the opportunity to see another initiative under MEFCOM, which uses an infrared system that detects at the release and arrival counters, how many travellers are waiting to settle their affairs.
01:19MEFCOM's guidance states that for the purpose of release, 85% of those dealing with immigration counters must be cleared in 20 minutes.
01:3885% must be cleared in 20 minutes.
01:42So the system I mentioned earlier provides real-time.
01:45For now, we have achieved it.
01:49For now, we are below 20 minutes.
01:52Way forward.
01:53Now, we are the leaders of ASEAN.
01:56The responsibility of the KDN, especially the Immigration Department, which is directed by the Prime Minister, is to ensure that all main entrances are seamless.
02:05No disruption.
02:07Don't delay.
02:09This year, we will start with the Malaysians.
02:12But next year, our way forward is for ASEAN.
02:19For the purpose of their entry, they will use the usual system.
02:26But when they leave, we will allow them to use the route that we have just launched.
02:33And next year, our way forward is when we launch Malaysia, which has been launched with the Prime Minister's logo,
02:44then it will be joined by major campaigns.
02:47In 2026, we will welcome a large number of visitors.
02:51So we will focus on ASEAN first.
