00:00The profit of the Bureau of Customs, Port of Clark, surpassed the target last year when they spent a lot of money for the exorbitant collection of taxes.

00:10Meanwhile, the debt of the banks in the country has increased. According to the Central Bank of the Philippines, this is an indication of the continuous fluctuation of the business.

00:23The total profit of the Bureau of Customs, Port of Clark in 2024 is more than Php 5.115 billion.

00:36It is higher than Php 18.859 million where this is the surplus or excess profit of the agency.

00:45The target of the agency last year is more than Php 5.96 billion. According to the BOC, this is due to the efforts of the Customs Officers of the BOC, Port Clark under the leadership of District Director Jairus Reyes.

01:05In a statement, BOC District Collector Jairus Reyes said that they will continue to be true to their mission in the exorbitant collection of profits and expediting the progress of the country.

01:21Meanwhile, the Central Bank of the Philippines or BSP announced that the debts of the banks in the country have increased.

01:28According to the BSP data, the debts of the Universal and Commercial Banks increased by 11.1% in November 2024 compared to the same month in 2023.

01:43According to the BSP, one of the main reasons for the increase in debts is the continuous fluctuation of businesses in the country.

01:50In fact, according to the BSP data, the sectors that have seen an increase in debts are retail trade, energy, and financial services.
