00:00Pinoy netter Francis Alcantara and his American partner Evan King did not miss out on their campaign in the ATP Sanctioned Event of the Bangkok Open 2 Challengers in Thailand.
00:11In the quarter-finals match, Alcantara and King managed to recover from the first set, but their momentum was destroyed by the third set, 6-3, 2-6, and 10-5.
00:22The Japanese tandem, Seta Watanabe and Takeru Suzuki, was in the lead.
00:27Although Alcantara and King won the match, they would face Daniel Kukerman of Israel and Joshua Paris of Great Britain in the semi-finals of the Cup 1 Unseeded Team.
00:38Despite the first set, Alcantara still has a long way to go in the line-up of ATP Tournaments where he managed to win the Challenger 75 event in the same country from January 13 to 19.
00:52The Challenger 100 Tournaments in Chennai, Bahrain, New Delhi, Pune, and Bengaluru will follow next week.
01:02At the moment, Alcantara is the leading Filipino doubles player and has an ATP doubles ranking of No. 227.
