00:00Now, try them together!
00:04Hey, I think I'm getting a little something there.
00:09Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for surprisingly wholesome scenes from animated films.
00:16We'll be getting into spoilers, so consider this your warning.
00:19Wall-E?
00:29Number 10. Judy apologizes to Nick. Zootopia
00:33Officer...Hops. Mr...Wild. Nick Wild.
00:37Friendship is one of the most prominent themes in this Disney movie, and it's a pretty important one.
00:43But an unlikely friendship between a bunny and a fox was nearly destroyed after Judy Hops made incredibly hurtful comments about the nature of predatory animals, angering her partner Nick.
00:53Oh, I think you said plenty.
00:56What do you mean?
00:57Clearly there's a biological component. These predators may be reverting back to their primitive, savage ways. Are you serious?
01:07Realizing the error in her ways, Judy finds him and apologizes. She doesn't just say sorry.
01:13She genuinely begs for his forgiveness, and in the end, the two are able to reconcile.
01:18In spite of the odds, this bunny and fox can be friends.
01:22Suddenly, this light-hearted buddy cop movie became a thought-provoking look at overcoming prejudices and learning to be better.
01:30I really am just a dumb bunny.
01:38I really am just a dumb bunny.
01:43I really am just a dumb bunny.
01:46Don't worry, Carrots. I'll let you erase it. In 48 hours.
01:52Number 9. Jamie finally sees Jack. Rise of the Guardians.
01:57Jack Frost.
01:59That's right! But that's me! Jack Frost! That's my name!
02:05You said my name!
02:07Belief is everything. It's the very fuel that powers the Guardians, a group of super-beings who save dreams and battle nightmares.
02:15When kids everywhere stopped believing in them, Jamie Bennett was the exception.
02:19Sure, his faith might have gone down a little bit, but he never truly stopped believing.
02:25And when Jack Frost tried to get Jamie's attention later, he was able to see him for the very first time.
02:31Can you see me?
02:36He sees me! He sees me!
02:42Before this, Jack was essentially invisible, which really sucks because he's basically the reason we have Winter.
02:48So as you can probably imagine, finally being able to be recognized for your hard work feels pretty darn good.
02:55It's a touching scene that gives Jack his due, but also shows how right Jamie was to keep believing.
03:01But what about the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy? Like, I mean, what about...
03:04Real, real, real! Every one of us is real!
03:07I knew it!
03:08Jamie, who are you talking to?
03:10Um...
03:13Jack Frost?
03:15Number 8. Joy learns about the importance of sadness inside out.
03:21It was the day the Prairie Dogs lost the big playoff game.
03:26Marley missed the winning shot. She felt awful.
03:30She wanted to quit.
03:32Look, we all love Joy, but you've got to admit that sometimes her constant positivity can be just a little bit toxic.
03:41The truth is that sometimes it's okay to be upset, and Joy realizes that when trapped in the memory dump.
03:50Sadness. Mom and Dad. The team.
04:06She discovers a time when Riley's sadness actually led to a positive memory.
04:10She lost a hockey match, but was later cheered up by her parents.
04:14In a way, Riley's grief allowed her to grow as a person.
04:17I came to help because of sadness.
04:27We have to get back up there.
04:29It's a sweet way to demonstrate how valuable all feelings are.
04:33It's also important since it lets Joy see sadness in a different light.
04:38By understanding that sadness is just as important as joy, it brings the two living emotions closer together.
04:44Riley needs you.
04:58Alright, let's do this one last time.
05:00My name is Peter Parker. I was bitten by a radioactive spider.
05:05And for ten years, I've been the one and only Spider-Man.
05:12Being Spider-Man is awesome, but it can be pretty tough too.
05:17Our first introduction to the Peter Parker of Earth-1610 perfectly demonstrates that.
05:22We get to see all of the glamorous highs that this Spidey has had, but we later see the gloomy lows too.
05:28But after everything, I still love being Spider-Man.
05:33We see a short montage of times he got pummeled and pulverized, yet it doesn't really bother him.
05:39There's something so uniquely endearing about seeing someone go through hell and smile about it later.
05:44No matter what trauma he's faced, he never let it change who he was.
05:48That kind of integrity really hammers home what Spider-Man is all about, never giving up.
05:54It wouldn't be great power without great responsibility, right?
05:58So no matter how many hits I take, I always find a way to come back.
06:10You and me, we're in a club now.
06:17I saw where your balloon went. Come on, let's go get it!
06:20Giving someone a bottle cap might not seem like anything special,
06:24but what if we told you that this is one of the most stirring moments in this movie?
06:29You see, Carl Fredricksen lost his wife Ellie due to illness, and he never truly got over her death.
06:35But things changed once he met Russell.
06:38See these? These are my Wilderness Explorer badges.
06:42You may notice one is missing. It's my assisting the elderly badge.
06:47If I get it, I'll become a senior Wilderness Explorer.
06:52Not long after, the pair were lumped into a wild adventure together.
06:56The bottle cap isn't just a bottle cap, it's a badge that Ellie originally gave to Carl.
07:01So him passing it down to Russell not only shows how he's changed, but also how he's let Russell into his life.
07:08Carl may have lost his family years ago, but now he has found a new one.
07:12I would like to award you the highest honor I can bestow.
07:19The Ellie badge.
07:24Wow.
07:25Wow.
07:36I don't like food. I love it.
07:40If I don't love it, I don't swallow.
07:45Gee, with a name like Ego, it's hard not to think of this guy as a bit of a snob.
07:50And though he is kind of a pretentious food critic at first, that all changes.
07:55While preparing to review a plate of ratatouille from a restaurant called Gusteau's, Anton is quickly transformed by the dish's taste.
08:03Once he digs in, we see a flashback showing him eating the same meal when he was a kid.
08:21It's like he's no longer a bitter old man.
08:27Now he's just an innocent young child enjoying his mom's homemade cooking.
08:31The layers to him slowly unravel like an onion, or whatever other food metaphor you want.
08:37Point is, the ratatouille warmed up his heart, and that's incredibly touching.
08:42I can't remember the last time I asked a waiter to give my compliments to the chef.
08:48Number 4. Wanting to be Superman. The Iron Giant.
08:52He's not like you. You're a good guy. Like Superman.
09:01What if a weapon of mass destruction didn't want to be that?
09:04This movie tells that story, and honestly, there's loads of scenes that'll tug at your heartstrings.
09:10One of them is a short moment where Hogarth and the Giant are playing in a scrapyard.
09:15Hogarth wants the robot to pretend to be a bad guy called Otamo, but the Giant instead decides to be Superman.
09:38Hey, what's wrong?
09:41While he nearly kills Hogarth later due to his programming, that really shouldn't undercut the sincerity of this scene.
09:48He doesn't want to be a symbol of violence. He wants to be a symbol of hope.
09:52Plus, how can you not smile when he attaches an S to his chest and does Superman's classic hands-on-hips pose?
09:59Otamo!
10:01Now, Otamo.
10:11I'm Superman.
10:13Okay, Superman.
10:15Number 3. Spaghetti Dinner. Lady and the Tramp.
10:19Hey, Joe, look. Butch, he's got a new girlfriend.
10:23Well, son of a gun, he's got a cockroach Spanish girl.
10:29She's pretty sweet, kiddo, Butch. You take Tony's advice and settle down with this one, eh?
10:37Why are we so emotionally invested in seeing two dogs enjoying a romantic dinner?
10:42Because it's incredibly well done, that's why.
10:45In this scene, both the titular animals of this film enjoy a delicious bowl of spaghetti,
10:50followed by a cute moment where the two meet in the middle.
11:07You just can't help but root for these two crazy canines to make it work.
11:11In fact, this might be one of the most iconic dinner dates of all time.
11:16Sure, we'll admit, not everything about Lady and the Tramp has held up super well today,
11:21but this is a tender moment which expertly captures puppy love in the most literal sense.
11:27This is the night, and the heavens are right.
11:51While humans and dragons aren't on the friendliest of terms at the start of this movie,
11:56a bond soon forms between a viking named Hiccup and a young dragon named Toothless.
12:01We're hit with the warm and fuzzies pretty much right from the jump.
12:05The clip when Hiccup first learns how to fly on Toothless in particular is breathtaking.
12:11Okay there bud, we're gonna take this nice and slow.
12:14Here we go, here we go.
12:15Position three, go four.
12:25But sometimes things aren't great.
12:27Like when Hiccup lost his leg after a big battle and he struggles to get out of bed.
12:32But even then, light shines through the darkness.
12:35Because in that same scene, Toothless helps Hiccup walk across his room,
12:39refusing to leave his side.
12:41They say that dogs are a man's best friend, but it looks like they have some competition.
12:46Stay here.
12:47Come on guys, get ready!
12:48Pull outside, here we go!
13:10for occasional videos or all of them.
13:12If you're on your phone, make sure you go into your settings and switch on notifications.
13:22We've seen humans falling in love, animals falling in love, and in WALL-E, robots falling in love.
13:28WALL-E.
13:31Here they are.
13:37WALL-E!
13:39WALL-E!
13:45The bond between WALL-E and Eve is unlike anything else, probably since they're both inorganic beings.
13:51But that doesn't really matter, because these bots are full of life.
13:55Their dance of sorts in the middle of outer space in particular proves that.
13:59The way they twirl around together in complete joy, just happy to be near each other, is therapeutic to watch.
14:10WALL-E!
14:15WALL-E!
14:20It's especially touching considering WALL-E was basically the only sentient robot around for hundreds of years before meeting Eve.
14:27This dance is so sweet to watch that it warms even the coldest of hearts.
14:32Define dancing.
14:34Dancing.
14:35A series of movements involving two partners where speed and rhythm match harmoniously with music.
14:46Is there a heartwarming moment we missed?
14:48Share all of the feels down in the comments.
