Venezuela's President Nicolás Maduro was sworn in for a third term after what many consider to be an illegitimate election win. The leader of the opposition, María Corina Machado, says they are still preparing to resist.

00:24It comes as the United States is offering a reward of 25 million U.S. dollars for information
00:30leading to Maduro's arrest.
00:33Supporters of Maduro came out to attend his inauguration ceremony, while the leader of
00:38the country's political opposition is calling the president's continued rule a coup.
00:43Maduro consolidated the coup d'état and the violation of our constitution.
00:50It is time to do what is necessary to restore it.
00:55Machado made the comments in her first public appearance since August, when she went into
01:00hiding.
01:01She was briefly arrested and released after appearing at a rally the day before inauguration.
01:07The candidate the opposition says won, Edmundo González Urrutia, said he would return from
01:12exile for the inauguration.
01:14But after threats of arrest and violence from the Maduro regime, Machado said now is not
01:20the right time.
01:36While the opposition prepares for resistance, Maduro followed his inauguration with a military
01:41ceremony that saw soldiers swear an oath of loyalty.
01:45Soldiers who may soon be called on to ensure Maduro faces no challenges from his opponents.
