Fans lashed out at David Raya on social media after his woeful performance for Arsenal in their penalty shootout against Man United.
The Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw for 120 minutes by the 10-man visitors and lost 5-3 on penalties to Ruben Amorim's side.
Raya guessed wrong for every United spot-kick but was particularly ridiculed for his antics when Leny Yoro stepped up to take the Red Devils' third penalty.
He was seen shuffling to the right side of the goal, hopping as Yoro approached the ball, and fully committed to the wrong corner as United's center-back lotted the ball into the bottom left.
One user wrote on X: 'This up there with the worst goalkeeping I’ve ever seen.'
Another said: 'Nearly every one of [Raya's] attempted saves looked like something out of a comic book. Awful.'
A third wrote: 'Down earlier than Southampton,' aiming a jibe at the Saints, who are deep in a relegation battle, 10 points from safety.
Sunday's first half suffered from a lack of quality from both sides. Gabriel Martinelli came closest before his effort was ruled out for offside.
The game erupted into life after the interval with United as Bruno Fernandes put the visitors into the lead before United's momentum was halted when Diogo Dalot was sent off for a second booking. Arsenal then promptly found an equalizer through a deflected volley from Gabriel.
The Gunners then had a golden opportunity to take the lead after being awarded a penalty but Altay Bayindir produced a fine stop to deny Martin Odegaard from 12 yards.
After a tense extra 30 minutes, the game was decided by spot kicks, with a miss from Kai Havertz sending Ruben Amorim's side through.
United will continue their FA defense against Leicester, who are managed by club legend Ruud van Nistelrooy.
