00:09shared the possibilities of representing the country again in the last chance in the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

00:21There are many things that Pinay Boxing Sensation and two-time Olympic medalist Nesty Petetio consider

00:28to step up to the Olympic stage again in the last chance.

00:32Currently, there is a 32-year-old Davaueño fighter with a silver medal that he won in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics

00:39and a bronze medal at the end of the last year's Paris Olympics

00:43where only one color of the medal is missing from his collection.

00:48This is the rarest medal.

00:50Before competing in the 2024 Paris Olympics,

00:53Nesty said in the last interview that this is his second and last chance to compete in the Olympics.

01:01But in the last interview of Radyo Pilipinas Dos Kamakailan with Petetio,

01:05Nesty looked back at the signals he received to be able to go back to the Olympics.

01:36After the Paris Olympics, I said,

01:38Lord, give me a sign if I will continue or stop.

01:43And Lord said, he really gave me a strong sign at that time when I was on the podium.

01:49I will just share it.

01:51While our flag was being raised on the podium,

01:57I was looking at the flag of the Philippines.

02:01We were in third place and I told him,

02:05Lord, you should be in the middle.

02:08But when I looked at the flag of Taipei,

02:13our flag was there.

02:15So I said, wow, this is the sign that I should continue.

02:20So I said, okay, I will continue.

02:23And because it was a long time before the Olympic Games itself,

02:28Ani Petetio did not put pressure on herself yet

02:31because she was already focused on the competitions that they will attend this year.

02:36As of now, I haven't thought about it yet because it's still too far.

02:40I still have three years to prepare for it.

02:44For me, it's still far away and that's where I focus on things that are really close.

02:53As of now, I haven't thought about the LA 2028 Olympics yet

02:59because I'm focusing on being a world champion again

03:03and in the SEA Games, I will maintain my position.

03:05So that's where I'm really focused.

03:07I don't feel any pressure on the upcoming Olympics

03:13because what I'm facing now is a tournament.

03:17That's what I'm really focusing on.

03:20Petetio is currently training in a 10-month training camp in Baguio City

03:25to prepare for her goal of becoming a world champion again in 2025

03:30and to win a gold medal in the upcoming SEA Games in December.
