00:35During emergency, I was also in jail for six months.

00:40By participating in the Satyagraha, I was arrested in Mangalabagh police station, which

00:49And I was detained in Kotak Circle Jail for more than six months.

00:55And many of that time, many students used and they participated in Satyagraha and was

01:03put in jail.

01:04And you know that that time, many top leaders, you know, all India leaders like Atal Bihari

01:09Vajpayee, Murad Desai, Jayaprakash Narayana in Odisha, Biju Patnaik, Harikrishna Mohtab,

01:14Nirmali Rautarai, Navakrishna Choudhary, they were also detained under MISA law, MISA Act,

01:23which was not, which cannot be challenged in the court of law.

01:26So, you feel happy after that?

01:30Definitely.

01:31Many of MISA prisoners right now, they are in very bad condition.

01:36I believe they will definitely, this pension scheme of the government of Odisha, definitely

01:43they will be benefited out of this.

01:47And also, the present generation, they will also know about the emergency.
