The girls were having a tough time trying to help each other put on contact lenses.
As one of them would attempt to place the lens on her eye, her eyelids would instinctively snap shut.
This made it almost impossible to position the lens correctly, and it would often get stuck on her eyelashes.
Despite repeated attempts, they couldn't get the lens to stay in place.
The struggle went on for a while as they tried to figure out a way to keep the eyes open long enough to insert the lens.
