Astrologer Shelley von Strunckel: 2025 will be a year of ‘breakthroughs’

00:00Hi, this is Shelley Von Strunkle and I'm delighted to welcome you into the year of 2025, which quite

00:05frankly I had trouble keeping track of because things are moving so quickly. But that's part

00:10of the point and that's why I'm talking to you. We are in a year during which most of the

00:15planetary heavyweights are moving into a new position. Now when I say that, the sun moves into

00:20a new sign every month. We know that from astrology columns, Mercury, Venus and Mars move into new

00:25signs with the most recently discovered planets. Pluto, Neptune and Uranus change signs only rarely

00:32but they're all changing signs now or within a year or two, which indicates a big shift in our

00:39collective vision of the world. That means that, well basically, we're all being given spectacles

00:45about how things should look. What this year is about therefore isn't about can I do it the way

00:49I did before. It's about how am I going to cope with this and that's the excitement. The minute

00:57you start saying that to yourself about this year, you've got the vibe and we'll get the best of this

01:04year and the coming years because it isn't about the same old, same old. It's about breakthroughs.

01:11One of the things I get asked about a lot is what they call the elements, earth, air, fire and water

01:15and they come from the positions of the signs in the zodiac. So for instance, Aries is a fire sign

01:21as is Leo and Sagittarius. The fire signs, go get it. The earth signs, Taurus, very careful Virgo and

01:30Capricorn all like to know what they're doing, like to measure things, please. The air signs, which are

01:34all about ideas, Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are about exactly that. They're the people who love

01:41to talk, whether it's a drinks party or sitting next to you on the bus and the water signs, Cancer,

01:47Scorpio and Pisces are about the subjective side of life, about feeling, about what touches us,

01:52what touches others and about what moves us. It's the thing an actor uses when they're acting

01:57and it's the thing you use when you discover somebody means a lot to you.
