00:00Landman boasts a star-studded main cast that includes Billy Bob Thornton,
00:04Demi Moore, and Jon Hamm, among many others. From makeup artists to fellow actors,
00:09here's a look at the cast's real-life partners.
00:12Landman's leading man Billy Bob Thornton has been married a total of six times,
00:16including, most famously, to Angelina Jolie. However, it wasn't until 2014 that Thornton
00:21exchanged vows with makeup and special effects artist Connie England after several years of
00:25dating. But, according to the man himself, this marriage is not like the others.
00:29Thornton met England on the set of the 2003 dark holiday comedy Bad Santa. During a 2024
00:34appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Thornton pointed out that his relationship with England
00:38had already lasted considerably longer than his previous five marriages combined.
00:42He also noted that England's sister, who was a makeup artist on Bad Santa,
00:46was the one who introduced them.
00:47She said,
00:48"'My sister's gonna visit, and I got a feeling that you're really gonna like her.' And sure
00:54enough, I did."
00:55Thornton went on to elaborate that he was going through a difficult period before
00:58England came into his life and changed everything.
01:00"'Yeah, she kinda drug me out of the gutter, which was awesome.'"
01:03For several years, Landman star Jon Hamm was in a committed relationship with fellow actor
01:08Jennifer Westfeldt. They never formally exchanged vows, as the Mad Men star didn't believe in such
01:13formalities. However, after they split, Hamm's love life underwent a significant shift. In
01:17February 2023, the actor broke his rule about marriage when he popped the question to his
01:22girlfriend, fellow Mad Men alum Anna Asciola. Just four months later, it was official. Hamm
01:26and Asciola were married. The actor explained his change of heart on an episode of the Table
01:30for Two podcast, saying,
01:32"'Ideally, marriage gives you and your partner a sense of stability and comfort and an identifying
01:36capacity that is better, deeper, richer than it's my girlfriend or my boyfriend or what have you.'"
01:42"'It's exciting because it's, again, it's all potential, it's all
01:47possibility, and it's all positive.'"
01:50They say that when you know someone is right for you, you just know. And this notion
01:54certainly rang true for Landman's leading lady, Ali Larder. In August of 2009,
01:58Larder married fellow actor and comedian Hayes MacArthur. The happy couple had been together
02:02for less than four years at that point, having met on the set of the 2007 comedy Homo Erectus.
02:07But according to Larder, she would have gladly married MacArthur within a month of their first
02:11date. The actor spoke about her romance with MacArthur in glowing terms during a September
02:152007 interview with Cosmopolitan, saying,
02:18"'Now that I'm actually in love, I know that what came before wasn't real.'"
02:22In the same interview, Larder confessed to telling MacArthur she wanted to marry him
02:25after only three weeks of dating. Obviously, that wasn't what actually happened,
02:29and they instead got engaged shortly after this very same interview was published in December 2007.
02:35Before she landed a leading role on Landman, Kayla Wallace spent several seasons as a
02:39recurring cast member on the hit Hallmark Channel Original Western series, When Calls the Heart.
02:43It was during her time on the show that Wallace met husband Kevin McGarry. In December of 2022,
02:48they had announced their engagement on Instagram. Though it's not clear exactly when they tied the
02:52knot, McGarry confirmed that he and Wallace were married during a promotional appearance
02:56in September 2024. However, in stark contrast to her Landman co-star Ali Larder,
03:00Wallace played a bit more hard-to-get. According to a 2024 article in SoapHub,
03:04McGarry noted how Wallace said no when he initially asked her out, adding,
03:08"'She made me work for it.'"
03:10Mark Colley, who plays Sheriff Walt Joberg on Landman,
03:12reportedly married Tammy Stewart in 2009. In September 2017,
03:16Colley posted on Facebook to commemorate their eighth wedding anniversary, writing,
03:20"'I thank God every day for putting her on this earth for me. Tammy,
03:23you are my world. Thanks for loving me like you do.'"
03:26Colley later wished his wife a happy birthday in a March 2021 Facebook post, writing,
03:30"'I simply couldn't do life without you, baby. I love you with all that I am.'"
03:34Fast forward another few years,
03:36and Colley and Stewart were photographed happily attending the Landman premiere.
03:40James Jordan has become a frequent collaborator of writer and director Taylor Sheridan,
03:44appearing in shows like Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, and as Dale on Landman.
03:48"'F----- it, Dale. How many times am I gonna have to tell you to pour the beans in a f----- bowl?'
03:55His partner, Debra Shray, is an Emmy-nominated makeup artist who's worked on shows like Hacks.
03:59While the two haven't publicly revealed when or how they got together,
04:02it's clear that Jordan is Shray's biggest fan. In December 2024,
04:06the actor took to Instagram to congratulate his wife and her team after their work on
04:10Hacks earned them a nomination for Best Contemporary Makeup at the Makeup Artist
04:13and Hairstylist Guild Awards. Jordan added the hashtag Proud Boyfriend in the post,
04:17implying that they haven't tied the knot. Still, they seem to love each other all the same,
04:21as evidenced by a separate Instagram post from Jordan to celebrate Valentine's Day in 2024.
04:26In the touching post, the actor shared a photo of the two enjoying a beach day together.
04:30Golden Globe-winning actor Demi Moore is no stranger to high-profile marriages.
04:34In fact, she got her surname from her chaotic first marriage to musician Freddie Moore,
04:39which lasted from 1980 to 1983. Demi later married fellow actor Bruce Willis in the fall
04:43of 1987, but the celebrity couple ultimately divorced in 2000. Then, five years after their
04:49split was finalized, she wed That 70s Show star Ashton Kutcher. They ended up calling
04:53it quits six years later, and their divorce was finalized in 2013. Around 2022, Moore enjoyed a
04:59brief fling with Swiss chef Daniel Humm. However, during a September 2024 appearance on The Tonight
05:03Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Moore confirmed that she was single. Later that very same month,
05:08Moore said in an interview with The Guardian that romance simply wasn't a priority for her.
05:12She told the outlet,
05:13"...particularly in the past four or five years, my focus has been to lean into my work. It's not
05:17about not being interested in dating. It's more about realizing that I'm now in a place that's
05:21much more about choice as opposed to feeling that there's any kind of lack."
