00:12I thank all those who contributed to the decision announced today by the U.S.
00:18to remove Cuba from the list of state sponsors of terrorism,
00:21of which it should never have been part and which, together with two other measures taken,
00:27has had a severe impact on the country and Cuban families.
00:31The communiqué continues as follows,
00:33It is a decision in the right direction, although belatedly and with limited range.
00:39The blockade and most of the extreme measures that were enforced since 2017
00:44to suffocate the Cuban economy and cause shortages to our people are still in force.
00:50Finally, it concludes,
00:51We will continue to confront and denounce the economic war and the actions of interference,
00:57disinformation and discredit financed with U.S. federal funds.
