00:00A group went to the theater to tell the story of the bitter experience of some in the war against drugs

00:09Some in Gubanap were the children of the victims of extrajudicial killings.

00:30His head was bleeding.

00:36We hid him in the hospital but we couldn't find him.

00:41This is the bitter experience of some in the war against drugs of the Duterte administration.

00:47But those in Entablado were the children of the victims of extrajudicial killings or EJKs

00:53like Irish, who was part of the Teatro Kabataan.

00:57This is a way of living, a way of studying, a way of not getting lost in the history of our country.

01:07I walked a lot. There was no traffic.

01:10In 2023, it was launched as a theater production initiative to give a platform to the children of EJK victims.

01:17It is also part of the program Paghilom that helps more than 300 EJK families.

01:24Aside from livelihood assistance, they are also concerned with legal, educational, and psycho-spiritual interventions.

01:30For now, they are in a school in Manila.

01:34But they will also have a performance in other venues to discuss some issues in society

01:40and to share the bitter story of their loved ones in life.

01:45We will continue to spread the message that extrajudicial killings are the consequence.

01:54Tears, weight, loss, but we will not give up.
