The south London bakery so popular they bought a shop next door

Chatsworth Bakehouse has become so popular that it’s bought a shop next door to deliver more freshly baked goods.

00:00Now earlier on we mentioned that Chatsworth Bakehouse in Crystal Palace

00:04opened up a second shop and that is where I went today. Their menu changes

00:10daily and on there are some of the best things on offer. You've got a green

00:14olive and grape focaccia bread, a cheddar and chai focaccia, a black currant cake, a

00:19dark chocolate cereal cookie. I mean this place is seriously off the charts and

00:25again as we expected more queues were lining down the streets of South London

00:30tucked between Crystal Palace and Annerley. We went for the maple and sea

00:35salt focaccia and a cheddar and marmite bun and it's honestly difficult to put

00:39into words just how good these things smell and obviously tasted as well. Now

00:44this particular branch of Chatsworth Bakehouse is open every day and the menu

00:49changes daily but don't just take my word for how good it is. Here is what

00:54some locals had to say as well. I've seen many people coming on Instagram so

01:01I just wanted to come. I got the sandwich of the week, a salted brownie and a

01:09cookie. I got my first sandwich here like I'd say three weeks ago. I've been yeah I

01:19live pretty locally but I can never get never get there at 12.30 on the Monday

01:23for that drop. Yeah. So what did you what did you get today? Today was the

01:28bargy barty and a cookie, the cereal cookie and a slava jalapeno focaccia.

01:36Usually do the walk up get some focaccia, some of the best focaccia in London I

01:41think yeah. Found out about about a month ago, been there like about four times

01:45since then. Yeah my partner's Italian and she verified this is like good focaccia

01:50so got to bring it home. And there you have it the best bakeries north and

01:55south of the River Thames in London.
