A 34-year-old woman has been charged with torture, accused of giving a baby girl unauthorised medicine and posting photos of her in "immense distress and pain" to elicit donations.
The Sunshine Coast woman was arrested at Underwood, in Brisbane's south, on Thursday 16th January 2025 and charged with administering poison with intent to harm, making child exploitation material and fraud. She was also charged with preparation to commit crimes with dangerous things. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
