00:00Today, we are talking about National Startup Day because on 15th January 2022, Prime Minister
00:06Narendra Modi announced the Startup Day while taking steps to make the youth self-reliant.
00:11And on 16th January 2022, this day was celebrated for the first time.
00:15And on this day, the youth started working to make them aware of their startups, to listen
00:19to their problems, and also to see how startups can be promoted.
00:24Right now, we have some youth with us who are working with their startups.
00:29First of all, we will talk to you about your startup and what kind of challenges you are
00:33facing with startups in Mojda Daur.
00:35So, my name is Neha.
00:36I am the co-founder of Assigning.
00:38We are making an AI tool for the youth because the youth are wandering a lot right now.
00:42So, we are making an AI tool to show them the right direction.
00:45The second thing is that if we talk about Rajasthan, the startup ecosystem is increasing.
00:49It has already increased a lot after 2022.
00:52There are some challenges that startups are facing in terms of funding.
00:56But right now, we ourselves are registered in Startup India and Bhamasha iStart.
01:02So, the government has started a lot of different initiatives for funding.
01:05If the youth face a problem with funding, they can apply there as well.
01:09In iStart, startups are placed in Bhamasha Techno Hub.
01:12Startups that are doing something in tech or digitalization, they are given a place here.
01:17So, the government is doing a lot of things.
01:19Still, if people are facing challenges in terms of funding,
01:21or if it takes a lot of years for funding to come into their account,
01:25then there are a lot of initiatives for that.
01:27They can use them.
01:29What kind of challenges do you face as a startup?
01:32What do you think the government should do to give more opportunities to startups?
01:37I would like to say that the government is doing a good job.
01:40There is just a little funding issue.
01:42The funding that comes into their account for a year can be done a little faster.
01:46For example, within 3 months or 4 months.
01:48There are also some communities that are being created here.
01:52So, if someone faces a problem, they can join the community.
01:55There are a lot of startup communities as well.
01:57They can join them and take some benefit from it.
02:00What kind of startup do you have?
02:02And what do you think, can things be done better?
02:05Because in Rajasthan, people have started doing startups from other states as well.
02:10Because there is availability of space here and the facilities are good.
02:14So, do you think Rajasthan is the best?
02:15There should be more improvement in this.
02:17My name is Shreya Goswami. I am the co-founder of Assigning Solutions.
02:21So, let me answer your question.
02:24The ecosystem that is being created here in Jaipur.
02:27And there were a lot of big startups that left from here.
02:30Because everyone has their own preferences.
02:32Everyone wants to work in their own way.
02:34So, the status that we are seeing now is that there are a lot of youth available here.
02:38There are a lot of colleges.
02:39And the rent here and the cost of living in a city like Bangalore or Delhi is very costly.
02:46And it is very cheap in Jaipur right now.
02:48So, people can come here and experiment and try to start their own startup.
02:52That you can easily give them 1-1.5 years.
02:54So, they can grow as well.
02:56What kind of startup do you have?
02:58And what do you think, can things be done better in front of the government?
03:02Do you think that what is going on or what is being provided by the government is sufficient?
03:05Or according to this day, because we are talking about startup day.
03:07So, it is very important to talk about the facilities of startup day.
03:10So that more youth can become self-reliant.
03:12So that more youth can do their work.
03:14So, first of all, my name is Ridhula Grewal.
03:16And I am the founder and CEO of ScrapBag.
03:18We are working on the cleanliness of our country and our state.
03:23And basically, whatever garbage we have, we clean it and convert it into a valuable product.
03:29Right now, we are I-Start Rajasthan, the government of Rajasthan.
03:32And apart from this, we are also certified by the government of India.
03:36So, if I talk about your question, should we make more improvements?
03:40So, first of all, the number of startups is increasing in the state.
03:43So, because of this, everyone may not be able to give equal opportunities to the government.
03:47Because there are limited resources.
03:49So, I think, whatever limited resources we have here, should be utilized in the best way.
03:54One point that I feel is lacking is that there should be more networking options here.
03:59There should be better facilities for startups to sit.
04:02Not just Jaipur, but incubation systems, acceleration systems and networking opportunities should reach even small cities.
04:08How do you see this?
04:10Because you have your own startup. What kind of startup is working for you?
04:12And what do you think should be the focus of discussion?
04:16So, my name is Divyam Goyal.
04:19And my startup is by the name of Souls of India.
04:22And we have built a platform that promotes Indian artists and Indian brands
04:26who deal with Ayurveda products and handicap products on a particular platform.
04:30If we talk about the government,
04:32I think the government's initiatives,
04:35from independence till now, no government has taken such initiatives
04:39to grow businesses, new businesses as well as startups.
04:42One thing that I feel is lacking is that the government's benefits cannot reach everyone.
04:47Not all startups can reach.
04:49There are many initiatives of the government that need to be promoted.
04:53If they are there, and if new startups are coming,
04:57if they are aware of these facilities,
05:00our ecosystem can be better than that of Rajasthan and India.
05:05So, these are some young people who are saying that in Rajasthan,
05:09the bidding that you get on rent for any startup,
05:14the initiatives that are spent, are very cheap.
05:17And this is the reason why startups from Bangalore and other states
05:20are coming to Jaipur and prefer to run their own startup.
05:24But there are some small problems.
05:26Because the number is increasing, the government needs to think on the same scale.
05:30Because Rajasthan is now becoming a hub for startups.
05:32And if the government focuses on this, then definitely,
05:35Rajasthan can establish its own identity as a startup in the country and the world.
05:39With Sahyogi Vijendra, Jashwant Singh, ETB Bharat, Jaipur.
