00:00Questioner 3, Rajasthan Police has launched Operation Cyber Shield against cybercrime.
00:07DG Cybercrime, Hemant Priyadarshi, is with us to talk about all these aspects.
00:14Sir, how is this operation moving forward?
00:18We had the available information from I4C and other sources.
00:26Based on that, it seems that people from every district of the state are working in cybercrime.
00:34The highest numbers are in Deek district, Alwar, Khairtal, Tejara and Uzbekistan.
00:44The lowest numbers are in every district.
00:48We have started Operation Cyber Shield in the state from 2nd January.
00:56We have called the cybercrime department and briefed them.
01:04We have given them brief instructions on how to proceed with the operation.
01:11In this operation, we are working on 7 points.
01:15We are working on the complaints from cybercrime portals.
01:21We are working on the hotspots.
01:28We are working on identifying the hotspots and arresting them.
01:34We are working on identifying the cybercrimes and arresting them.
01:41We are working on identifying the mobile phones and sending them back to the people.
01:51These are the 7 points we are working on.
01:55We are working on identifying and arresting the mobile phones and sending them back to the people.
01:59We need to improve the operation.
02:03We will talk to the SP and IG of the districts and run it with full confidence till 31st January.
02:10Sir, the operation that is going on right now, the campaign that is going on,
02:14what kind of fraud cases have been investigated in that?
02:18What kind of cases are going on right now?
02:21Look, in this, in different districts, different types of services are being fraudulently used.
02:30Now, somewhere, like in Jalore, they were saying,
02:32let's calm down Mr. Grayclay.
02:34In that name, they have become frauds.
02:36Somewhere, this kind of thing is being done in the name of predicting the future.
02:41Somewhere, it is being done in the name of religious guidance.
02:43In total, the services that are being done,
02:48somewhere, it is being done in the name of investment.
02:50So, there are different ways.
02:52In total, everyone's conclusion is that
02:55if you are greedy, then you go.
02:58If you are blind, then you will be fooled.
03:01Believe, I mean, after verifying,
03:04you should spend your hard-earned money somewhere.
03:06In total, this is the point.
03:08And even if it happens, then don't worry, verify it.
03:12And if the whole incident has happened with you, then complain.
03:16Don't sit quietly.
03:17Sir, the scheme of cyber fraud is changing continuously.
03:22So, how is the campaign drive going on for the public's awareness?
03:28Whatever new way of reporting comes to our mind,
03:32we specifically share it with people,
03:36that this is a new way, stay away from it.
03:39Apart from this, we had shared some video clips earlier in all the districts.
03:43We also showed it in the cinema halls.
03:45Then we made new clips and uploaded them on our social media handle.
03:52And the awareness of print media is also connected with us.
03:56Sir, a big challenge is related to the skill of the police.
04:01Technically, there are many challenges,
04:03because this matter is related to technique.
04:05So, how are you moving forward with the capacity building of the police?
04:10Look, we are working on two fronts.
04:13First, we are training at the local level in our state,
04:16in the police academy.
04:18If we don't have any training information of a sensitive nature,
04:22then we call the officers to the chief's office and train them here.
04:26Apart from this, a very important work is being done by the Indian government,
04:30with their initiative, that is of cyber commandos.
04:34So, for the training of cyber commandos,
04:37our police officers and officials,
04:40are being trained in national security universities, engineering colleges,
04:43and in many other places throughout the country,
04:45in different centres.
04:49For their screening,
04:51last Sunday,
04:53we conducted a test,
04:55about 300 people participated.
04:57The people who will clear the screening,
04:59will do the long training of cyber commandos,
05:02which is a six-month training.
05:04So, the intention of the Indian government is that
05:06in the next year,
05:08we will be able to prepare a well-trained army,
05:11a capable army,
05:14in sufficient numbers,
05:16So, this is a very big challenge.
05:18So, regarding this, the Rajasthan government,
05:20and the central government's MHA,
05:22we are working together.
05:24The Rajasthan police is continuously
05:27conducting an investigation on cyber crime,
05:31and this investigation will continue till January.
05:35Along with this,
05:37DG Cyber Crime also says that
05:40the common people should also be aware,
05:43and should be saved from greed.
