00:00When you shut down the camera, the phone, did you walk up to him?
00:08Did you have an interaction with him?
00:09How did it evolve once you stopped shooting?
00:14I had my three children with me.
00:15We were just on an evening hike to go look at the Burns car, make sure there wasn't any,
00:20you know, hot spots popping up so we could go to bed and feel safe.
00:25And where I was standing, that was my property.
00:27He was coming up a fire road.
00:29To answer your question, no, nothing else really happened.
00:32After that point, I asked him some more questions, you know, and then he asked me for directions.
00:37I pointed him in the direction of the firefighters' ex Phil down Mulholland, Dirt Mulholland,
00:43and they, you know, and I was hoping that they would pick him up at that point.
00:48But he was definitely suspicious.
00:51Nothing else happened.
00:52There's nothing I could do with my three kids.
00:53They're my priority in life, and I just can't put them in harm's way.
00:57But everything about the conversation and the person not having any directional sense
01:03or names of streets or canyons or anything was very suspicious to me.
01:08I did make a police report.
01:09I called the sheriff, the Lost Hills Sheriff's Department, and I made a police report there.
01:13And because I know that is the process to get things started, you know, they need a
01:16report to get moving.
01:18So I did that, and that's kind of, that was it.
01:22When you asked him what's in the backpack, and out of, unprompted, he says lighter fluid.
01:28He said no lighter.
01:29I don't have lighter fluid.
01:30Yeah, not like I have lighter fluid.
01:33That had to set off all sorts of alarms for you, no?
01:37Yes.
01:38Yes.
01:39And I, my kids were hiding behind a bush, actually doing what I asked them to for once,
01:43which is great.
01:45But they, you know, they were really quiet and hidden away.
01:49But again, I don't know.
01:50I can't risk, I just can't put my kids in danger.
01:55You know, otherwise, it was probably a blessing that my kids were there, for both of us.
01:59It honestly turned out as best as it could, because what I've, the information I have
02:02is that he has been arrested and in question, which tells me there was enough evidence to,
02:08you know, at least detain him.
02:10Where he is now, I don't know.
02:12But I have a friend that has, you know, friends in law enforcement, and that's what I've been
02:17told.
02:18I have no confirmation.
02:19I can't confirm that.
02:20It's okay to ask questions.
02:21You know, it really is.
02:23It's okay to ask questions, you know, do it in a polite, nice way, and it's okay.
02:30It's all right.
02:31But, you know, this is, it is a tight-knit community up here.
02:35There's 13 homes, and you know, we know everybody.
02:37So I know, if I see a dog coming up the trail, I know who's coming up after the dog.
02:40I know, we know who's here, and he did not belong here.
