Al Shabab make approach for Mario Lemina

00:05on the way back and we're at the Durham services and it's never a dull day because there's

00:10been an update. On Mario Lamina, we spoke last night and Vito Pereira said that he refused

00:15to come with the squad. We've gone to town on it, not only online, but also on the podcast

00:19where you can listen to a lot more detail on our thoughts. But there has been a development

00:23this morning, Liam. Yes, we spoke on the podcast last night about one o'clock in the morning,

00:28wasn't it, talking about the Lamina situation and said that it had all gone pretty quiet

00:31with the Saudi side, Al-Shabaab and other clubs that are interested. So it's no surprise

00:36to wake up this morning, considering Vito Pereira very publicly revealed that Mario

00:40Lamina wants to leave and he refused to travel with the squad to Newcastle, it is no surprise

00:45that Al-Shabaab will have seen that and have made an approach towards the son, Mario Lamina.

00:50The problem is they've made an approach asking Wolves to take him on a free, considering

00:55that he is under contract for a few months until the end of the season. Wolves have an

01:00option to extend that by a further 12 months if they would like to, albeit that will be

01:04unlikely with them trying to work on a deal to move him on. And Al-Shabaab have asked

01:07him for a free. Wolves are very insistent that they want to sell him. They want to sell

01:12him for six million euros, which is roughly five million pounds. Whether they can find

01:18an agreement and a compromise on that with the club remains to be seen. But Al-Shabaab

01:22have made an approach and Wolves are working to remove Mario Lamina from the Wolves squad

01:26later this month.

01:28Yes, I mean, look, pretty sure that Mario Lamina's agents and party would have known

01:33this was coming. He's trying to force a move out of this football club and it's a disgrace.

01:39It's pathetic. It's absolutely stunned with a club that are struggling to survive in this

01:44Premier League and we've said more about it and like I say, you can listen to the podcast.

01:48But Wolves did a lot for Mario Lamina last season and Mario Lamina has not repaid that

01:53faith and in fact, he's just turned his back on this club. He's no better than Mateus Nunes

01:57from my point of view. And yeah, just keep this one at the forefront of your mind because

02:05this is going to be a developing situation and it's pretty disgusting, unfortunately.
